Workshop 1: Fabric covered buckets

Our first workshop will be Fabric Covered Metal Buckets.  These are great for a variety of things such as storage, gifts, and entertaining.

The processes involves adhering fabric to the bucket and shellacking it so that it is water resistant.

The buckets can be made in a variety of sizes and I will go over your options in a sec.

You can see examples of these at this website HERE

These photos are a few examples from etsy.

So here are your options:

1. Go to the hardware store and buy your own bucket in any size,

go to the fabric store and pick out enough COTTON fabric to cover your bucket, and pay me a $5 fee for additional supplies.
OR
2.  Pay me $20, and this includes a standard pail, fabric, and supplies.

Most of the workshops I will provide the supplies but I figured some of you might want to do bigger sizes, for instance a tub to use as a cooler, or larger bucket for toy bins or whatever.

Both Lowes and Home Depot carry metal buckets in all types of sizes.

I will also provide you with an instruction sheet that you can take home with you so that you can recreate this project at your leisure.

Please RSVP at the Evite HERE

Thanks!!!
